Northern Gateway to the Sandstone Ridge

Volunteers of The Standstone Ridge are currently working on all sorts of desk top initiatives, one of which relates to the rock-cut garden and park features, previously observed during various field visits.

There is a pattern of caves, follies and alcoves along old panoramic walks that probably dates back to the eighteenth century and which deserves to be recognised and better understood.
