Parks and Gardens

Cheshire has a rich legacy of historic parks and gardens. Gardens are ephemeral and many have been lost over the years, but others survive and some thrive. The activities of the Research and Recording Group help the Trust to raise awareness of these heritage assets among owners, custodians and local communities, and enable us to make informed responses to planning consultations.

The work of many notable designers is represented in parks and gardens to be found in Cheshire.
