English landscape designer who studied under William Emes between 1782 & 1793 and had an extensive practice as a landscape designer and architect in the late 18th & early 19th centuries. He worked mainly in the Midlands and the north of England. Webb is associated with over twenty sites in Cheshire, often following Emes as at Eaton Hall.
